Songwriter and certified hit maker Kenneth Babyface Edmonds just launched a new publishing company called Good Vibes Music. He’s also partnered with Spotify to hold international songwriting camps.
The goal of the company is to develop and foster world-class songwriters and producers. And there’s no better to do this than Babyface who has consistently created hits for a huge number of artists.
According to Music Business Worldwide:
Edmonds is an 11-time Grammy Award winner, and has produced and written/co-written hits for artists from Whitney Houston, Eric Clapton, and Michael Jackson – to Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ariana Grande.
The partnership with Spotify happens with their Discovery Song Camp. The five-day camp is hosted by Spotify’s Secret Genius initiative and takes place in their L.A., Atlanta, Nashville and London studios.
People selected for the camp work with Babyface and other attendees to write, record and produce music. The hit songwriter said “With the launch of Good Vibes Discover Song Camp…we are giving those songwriters and producers a chance to be heard, to be mentored, and to realize their dreams.”
