Lately Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Ed Sheeran have been in the news for their incredible debuts and streaming records. But now another artists can be added to the mix – Justin Bieber.

HypeBot is reporting that Bieber just broke a YouTube record for the biggest music video debut of 2017. The remix of “Despacito” by Luis Onsi and Daddy Yankee features the Canadian-born singer singing in Spanish.

On debut 3 days ago, the video (which is not really a music video, but audio of the song and an image) generated about 20 million views within 24 hours. At press time the video was just under 40 million views.

The original song, which does have a proper video, is in the #1 spot in the YouTube Global Music Top Chart and has about 1 BILLION VIEWS!
