TMZ is reporting that rapper Lil Wayne may consider suing the pharma-bro famous for price gouging life-saving medicine, Martin Shkreli, for leaking music from his album Tha Carter V.
Earlier this month the indicted executive previewed songs from the album, and did the same back in December. Universal and Wayne both reportedly sent cease-and-desist letters warning of a potential lawsuit.
This isn’t Wayne’s first legal battle. The album has been delayed for years as he fights his former label Cash Money Records for unpaid revenues. But if Shrekli leaks any more music, the Young Money icon is ready to take him to court.
Lil Wayne was also in the news as T-Pain teases a new album “T-Wayne” which features the New Orleans rapper. Shkreli was recently suspended from twitter and will go to trial on June 26 for securities fraud.
