Lil Yachty and Migos’ new banger “Peek A Boo” may land the young rapper and self-proclaimed “best business man” in rap in court as allegations of song element theft are raised. Jacksonville rapper Memphis Ash released a song called “Pikachu” last year that he says that “Peek A Boo” borrows from – both the verse and hook elements.

TMZ reported that the rapper also took legal action, sending a cease and desist through his legal reps.

On “Pikachu,” Memphis Ash raps “Yellow like Pikachu. Peekaboo. Peekaboo / All my girls yellow like Pikachu.” And on Lil Yachty’s song, the hook goes, “Play with that pussy like peekaboo … Play with that money like peekaboo.” Read More
