One of the biggest names in fat-sounding analog style synths, Moog Music, has just announced it’s now shipping the newly updated version of their popular Minitaur synthesizer. Version 2.2 of the subharmonic bass synth features new LFO wave shapers and anyone who purchases through October 10th will get a free set of wooden side pieces. They make the synth look pretty solid when attached.
Here’s a list of all features in the newly updated with that classic sound:
- 128 onboard presets.
- Free editor/librarian software (Mac/Windows).
- 2 Taurus oscillators.
- Taurus ladder filter.
- 6 modulation sources (Tri, Sqr, Saw, Ramp, S&H and Filter EG).
- Hard sync.
- 2 ADSR envelopes.
- External audio input.
- MIDI sync-able LFO.
- Assignable CV inputs.
- CV to MIDI conversion.
The instrument, meant to seamlessly fit into any studio setup, is available for $539 USD
