Nick Dwyer Releases PALETTE Samples/Synth for Reaktor

Sound designer Nick Dwyer has just released a new Native Instruments Reaktor instrument. PALETTE is a sampler and synth, or in Dwyer’s words “a music paintbox.” The 8-layer, monophonic sample player comes with onboard sounds but can also be used with your own sounds.

According to AskAudio:

There are 30 PRESETS in 3 banks of 10 to give you a flavour of what is possible with this instrument. Use the drop down menu to access them or double click “Embedded” in the presets side pane. Then jump in and layer different groups of sounds and tweak the various CONTROLS and FX to create new samples for yourself.

PALETTE is available now for $10 but requires the full version of NI Reaktor 6. If you don’t have the full version, you can still use PALETTE in 30 minute demo mode.
