kanye-west-the-life-of-pabloLast night Kanye West – arguably one of the greatest artists of the modern time – debuted his latest album T.L.O.P (The Life of Pablo) on a Tidal stream of his fashion show Yeezy Season 3.

We tried tuning into the live web stream at 4:00PM EST Thursday February 11, 2016… but being 5 minutes late was too late. Apparently 20 million viewers tuned in to watch the event and the Tidal servers crashed within minutes.

Fans and haters around the world hoping to catch a glimpse of the show and hear the new album were stuck with frozen video and buffering connections. It’s a bit weird that a streaming service backed by the biggest names in music (and so the biggest money in music) still has technical difficulties in the age of the internet.

Either way, the album is actually set to drop on streaming services today (February 12, 2016) but if you can’t wait you can stream the live event (and hear the new record) here.

As always, if you don’t want to watch it yourself but still partake in the love/hate you can also read a bunch of hipster’s review the event in a snarky, cynical voice by searching Google.
