Earlier this week Ariana Grande announced she’d be holding a benefit concert to help the victims of the terrorist attack in Manchester, UK. The Manchester show – called One Love Manchester – had tickets go on sale this morning, and they were sold out in under 6 minutes.
All proceeds will be collected and administered by We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Ticketmaster UK has confirmed the sell-out. People who attended the original concert on May 22 were given free tickets. The remaining tickets were sold at 40 GPB.
But those not fast enough to get tickets to the actual show need not worry. The event will also be live broadcast on BBC Television, BBC Radio, and Capitol Radio Networks. There will also be an online streaming partner, yet un-announced.
According to Digital Music News:
Expectedly, security will be extremely tight at the venue. All attendees can expect thorough checks prior to entering, with perimeter checks also expected.
Performers at the benefit show will include Grande, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Usher and more.
The event will take place Sunday June 4th at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
