Rapper Big Sean has postponed his Unfriendly Reminder Tour to focus on making new music. Sean’s tour was set to go on a 31 city run and feature Playboi Carti and Shy Glizzy. The tour itself was announced less than a month ago and Big Sean even gave fans an opportunity to curate his set list.
The rapper released an official statement about the decision. In it he said “I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio. Unfortunately I am postponing my upcoming tour…I learned in life you have to follow your intuition – I hope you do the same.”
He also added “Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”
Many are hopeful that the news, though disappointing, means amazing new music from the rapper will be on the way.
According to HipHopDX:
Whatever Sean is working on, many are likely hoping he steps up his bars. His most recent release, Double Or Nothing with Metro Boomin, made our Most Disappointing Rap Albums Of 2017 list.
