YouTube’s “Diamond Club” is reserved for the most popular channels on the video streaming platform. And now, despite a bad run in the news lately, Chris Brown can celebrate joining that club after surpassing 10 million subscribers.
The R&B singer and rapper took to Instagram to post a letter YouTube sent him letting him know about the achievement. The letter was sent by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki where she praised his channel for becoming a movement.
The YouTube Diamond Club is quite an exclusive club, reserved for only the most popular creators on the site.
Breezy joins a small list of artists to attain 10 million subscribers on YouTube. Eminem, Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa are the only rappers in the Diamond Club. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Skrillex and Ariana Grande are among the other notable artists in the Club.
Chris Brown is also set to release a new double album which features 40 songs later this year. The album is called Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
