French Montana shared on Instagram yesterday that he won a whopping $60,000 from Drake over an NBA Finals bet.

The Land won the championship on Sunday night (June 19) after the Cleveland Cavaliers led by a triumphant ‘King James’ beat the Golden State Warriors 93-89.

On the Instagram vid, French is on the camera saying “Shout out to my brother, Drizzy Drake, for that 60 bands ’cause you ain’t believe in LeBron.”

Despite being the global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, Drizzy has shown his favoritism for Steph Curry and company in the past. On his 2014 track “0 To 100,” he shouted out the GSW MVP, rapping, “I been Steph Curry with the shot/ Been cookin’ with the sauce, chef, curry with the pot, boy.”

However, it would have been silly for the 6 God to side with No. 23 because, as Bleacher Report points out, King James and the Cavs are the reason why the Raptors didn’t make it past the Conference Finals in May. billboard.com

Though his wallet is a little lighter, Drake doesn’t seem phased. He shared photos of himself in a pool.
