Pregnant Ciara and her ex-fiance Future have finally reached a settlement over the custody of their two-year-old son, Future.
As TMZ reports, the two have agreed to joint custody of the boy. Baby Future will, however, spend more time with his mother due to Future’s touring schedule. Sources tell the celebrity site that both artists are tired of fighting and are eager to put the battle behind them.
This settlement comes just weeks after Ciara dropped a defamation suit against Future who she said had publicly criticized her ability as a mother.
Ciara claimed that Future’s comments caused her to lose out on a $500,000 endorsement deal, part of why she was seeking $15 million in damages. A judge dismissed the claim, leading Ciara to drop her lawsuit.
Both developments seem to point in the direction of some sort of resolution for the former couple, who have battled in court and online following their break-up in August of 2014. Read more…
This new development can finally give Ciara more time to focus on building a family with her now-husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
