The Game Raises $40,000 For Arkansas Police Officer Community Outreach Plan

There’s a lot of craziness going on in the world right now, and the United States is becoming a powder keg of tension between police and citizens. So it’s pretty great to see influential people and artists bridging the gap and showing that despite all the anger, people can come together for good.

The Game and his son want to help an Arkansas cop – Tommy Norman – that is trying to improve relationships between police and the communities they police. This could lead to a huge step forward in policing for that Arkansas police department if successful. The culture of suspicion that’s perpetuated is part of the problem, and hopefully this program can help reduce that culture of fear.

So far they’ve raised more than $40,000 via GoFundMe. Here’s what The Game had to say:

“I had conversations with my oldest son [Harlem] about good cops and bad ones and he did his research and found officer [Norman’s] page,” wrote Game on Instagram. “I was touched by how active he is in the black community where he polices.”
