The show, titled, “Gucci & Friends” is slated for July 22 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.
Gucci, born Radric Davis, spent 39 months at a federal correctional facility in Terre Haute, Indiana over weapon charges.
After serving three years behind bars on firearm charges, Gucci Mane (real name: Radric Davis) danced out of the pen with a new track called “First Day Out Tha Feds” produced by frequent collaborator Mike WiLL Made-It. Shortly after his release, he also appeared on Drake’s “Back On Road” as well as the G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Winter single “Champions” led by Kanye West and featuring Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Desiigner, Migos’ Quavo, Big Sean and Yo Gotti. Before prison, a host of his albums and mixtapes appeared on the Billboard 200 with three making it to the Top 20.
He is often credited as a pioneer of trap music.
