Singer Jhene Aiko is being sued by a tour manager who claims she did not pay his expenses. Joshua Williams, the former tour manager, says the singer owes $70,000 and he repeatedly demanded payment but has not received anything yet.
The manager says he was hired in October 2017 and during the tour put over $50,000 on his personal credit card for tour related expenses. He claims he was promised to be reimbursed later, but to date Aiko’s team have refused to give up the money plus an additional $16,000 in wages.
But there’s another side to the story as well.
According to Complete Music Update:
According to The Blast, Aiko’s team say that Williams has failed to provide receipts for any of the purchases he allegedly made in relation to the tour. Meanwhile Aiko’s accountants are reportedly conducting an investigation into whether or not Williams’ claims are fraudulent.
