Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ drops a new track, “Land of the Free” just in time for his birthday and Donald Trump’s inauguration. It’s off his upcoming sophomore studio album, AABA.

It’s a politically charged joint which finds the 22-year old emcee spitting freely about the state of the country and how Donald Trump is “not equipped” to be President.

“Sorry America I will not be your soldier/ Obama just wasn’t enough, I need some more closure/ And Donald Trump is not equipped to take this country over,” he raps.

“Land of the Free” is Bada$$’ powerful state of the nation address, confronting the country’s continued legacy of oppression, claiming “the land of the free is for the free loaders,” leaving bodies “dead in the street to be their organ donors” and disorganizing the black population to make them “all loners.” Read more…

“Land of the Free” was produced by Kirk Knight and 1-900.
