After an Ariana Grande concert fell victim to a terrorist attack last week in Manchester, fans of pop star Justin Bieber want his to cancel his upcoming shows. While no specific threats have been made against Bieber, fans fear for their safety if they attend UK shows.
Some shows have been cancelled, while others – like Bieber’s – have not. Fans took to Twitter and Instagram to express their concerns over Bieber’s UK shows being a possible target for terrorists. Live Nation has decided to offer refunds for some of it’s shows, but not all.
Scooter Braun – both Bieber and Grande’s manager – issued a statement saying:
“I will honour those that lost by living each day full. Full of fun, full of laughter, full of joy. I welcome the differences of my neighbour. The wish of terrorism is to take away that feeling of freedom and joy. No. That is my answer. No. We cant allow it. Fear cannot rule the day.”
Several artists have continued their European tour dates while others have decided to cancel.
