The Warped Tour has officially announced it’s 2018 live music lineup. This year’s tour will be the last that travels across the country. This year’s show will feature bands from the festival’s 24 year history, including Simple Plan, Sum 41, All Time Low and more.
Kevin Lyman, founder of the tour, said in November that Warped would no longer be a “traveling” tour but did not say they wouldn’t celebrate the 25th anniversary in 2019. On the tour’s official site, the founder wrote “Today, with many mixed feelings, I am here to announce that next year will be the final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour.”
According to Rolling Stone:
Other returning artists for the tour’s swan song include Reel Big Fish, 3OH!3 and Less than Jake, among many others. As in previous years, up-and-coming acts will also be featured. Two stages, the newly named Mutant Red Dawn and Mutant White Lightning, will host heavy and hardcore artists. Additional special guests will be announced at a later date.
The tour kicks off on June 21 in Pomona, CA and ends in West Palm Beach, FL on August 5.
