Multi-platinum producer Ensayne Wayne was shot and killed in Northwest Atlanta on Saturday February 10 according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Wayne worked with artists like Three 6 Mafia and is the older brother of another platinum ATL producer, Drumma Boy.
The younger producer took to Instagram to express his grief saying “I lost the first person I ever looked up to in life…the first person I ever wanted to be like…My BIG blood-brother…My dad showed me the fundamentals of music & music theory, but my brother introduced me to making beats. He paved the way for me, introduced me to everybody he could, continuously bragged about me and gave me an alternative route to take.”
He ended the post with “#LegendsLiveForever #RIP #EnsayneWayne.”
According to police, Wayne — whose real name is Miles Ferrell — was found by officers outside of Drumma Boy’s House of Fresh clothing boutique. He was rushed to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries. Witnesses said a “heated verbal dispute” with an unknown man led to gunfire. The shooter fled the scene in a black sedan.
Rest In Peace to the multi-platinum super producer, and much love and strength to the family.
