Native Instruments Releases Session Guitarist Electric Sunburst for Kontakt

Native Instruments – the company behind big names in music production like Maschine and Komplete – have just launched a brand new guitar instrument. The new Kontakt instrument is part of their “Sessions Guitarist” series and is called Electric Sunburst.

The instrument is a multi-sampled pattern and sound generator that sounds like a real guitar player live in your studio. It is an easy-to-use virtual instrument that allows complete customization of the riffs, licks, arpeggios and patterns you are able to play. It comes with 154 different patterns in a wide variety of styles.

According to Rekkerd.org:

The latest addition to the successful SESSION GUITARIST series, ELECTRIC SUNBURST combines 154 playable patterns, riffs, and arpeggios with realistic performance controls: Advanced picking engine, selectable fret position, articulations such as plectrum, finger, harmonics, and more.
