Popular podcaster from the No Jumper Hip-Hop podcast Adam22 (real name Adam Grandmaison) has just joined forces with Atlantic Records to launch a record label imprint. The imprint is called No Jumper Records and is an offshoot of the brand’s YouTube channel.
The No Jumper YouTube has garnered 241 million views since launching back in 2012. The podcast is known to be on the cutting edge of what’s bubbling in today’s rap scene. Adam22’s interviews with rappers before they blow up are known for helping to launch the careers of some.
The podcast even had a hand in launching the career of XXXTentacion, whose latest album is probably going to debut at #1 on the Billboard charts.
According to Music Business Worldwide:
A label was hinted at in a Rolling Stone article published last year, where Grandmaison said label execs “want to give me a bunch of money to do a joint label deal with them.”
The first single from the label is BlocBoy JB and Tay K’s “Hard.”
