After a concert in Boone, North Carolina, police raided the tour bus of rap group Migos and searched it for drugs. What they found was exactly 420 ounces of weed – no lie. The stop and search occurred after officers working security smelled marijuana coming from the bus.
In addition to the pot, officers found 26 ounces of codeine and Xanax. Three men, none of the core members of the group, were charged with various drug offences.
This isn’t the first legal brush up for the Culture II rappers.
According to Digital Music News:
The group has been battling a litany of criminal charges and offenses over the past few years, with charges involving drugs, firearms, fights, and endless misdemeanors. Actually, the group just got sued last month for allegedly inciting a riot back in 2015, specifically from the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany. The group has also been sued by a fan who got maimed during the violence.
