It’s being reported that Quavo, one of the members of Migos, may have gotten into an altercation at a Grammys after party which resulted in him snatching up someone else’s ice. Hip-Hop jewelry maker “Eric the Jeweler” alleges that two men confronted him at the party and the altercation got physical, and led to him being jacked.
The party was taking place at 1 OAK in New York City and the altercation happened at around 4:30 AM. According to TMZ Quavo and Eric exchanged words over alleged money owed to Eric by the Migos rapper. Although Eric left the party with only minor injuries (a swollen eye) he realized he was missing a $30,000 chain.
According to HipHopDX:
In a report filed on Tuesday (January 30), Eric reportedly told law enforcement that two men, one of which was Quavo, jumped him. TMZ reports that sources inside the club say the second alleged attacker was not fellow Migos members Offset or Takeoff.
Detective Sophia Mason confirmed a report had been filed for robbery and assault but that there were no arrests and it remains an active investigation.
Eric the Jeweler has made pieces for 50 Cent, DMX and many others.
