Super Bowl LII is only days away and pop-r&b icon Justin Timberlake is set to take the stage at halftime. Many are anxiously asking who will be the special guests that make an appearance on the most-watched stage in the western world. Unfortunately for some hopeful fans, neither NSYNC, not Janet Jackson will be making an appearance at this year’s game.

Many were anticipating a reunion of Janet and Justin as a way of coming full circle from their previous duet performance that ended in the infamous “wardrobe malfunction” and resulting “nipplegate” controversy. (Yuuup.. people were hella sensitive back then too…)
According to Billboard:
While it seems Timberlake will be handling the world’s biggest stage without any guest stars — which isn’t totally unheard of, as Lady Gaga went at it alone just last year — he assured fans that it will be a halftime show to remember.
Timberlake said “Without giving too much away, we’re doing a few things with this halftime show that they’ve never quite done before.”
This year’s Super Bowl will take place Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 6:30PM EST. Check your local listings for channel information.
