Troy Ave and Joe Budden Exchange Jabs Over ‘NuPac’ Comment

Joe Budden, Troy Ave NuPac - Everyday Struggle

Joe Budden and Troy Ave have been going back and forth between social media and the new Complex YouTube show “Everyday Struggle.” The two have been going back and forth before this latest jab from Budden, and Ave even called out the “Pump It Up” rapper on his NuPac song “Truth Be Told PSA.”

In the latest comment Joe Budden said Troy Ave only sold 830 copies of that NuPac project. He also said “Rest in Peace Troy Ave’s Career.” Troy Ave came back on Instagram saying he actually released the mixtape for free so the money from sales was just gravy.

AllHipHop reports:

While NuPac is available on free download sites such as My Mixtapez and Datpiff, the project can also be purchased on iTunes and streamed on Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify.

Albums sales could be a touchy subject for Troy since he was widely ridiculed when his 2015 indie album Major Without A Deal reportedly only sold 7,000 units in the first week of release.
