Olubowale Victor a.k.a Wale served up a new mixtape last Friday. It’s titled Summer on Sunset.
It’s a 17-track offering that features a special guest roster including: Cam’ron, Ty Dolla $ign, Tha Dogg Pound and more.
But it’s not just rappers as special guests.
A couple of celebrities make cameos on the tape. In addition to Seinfield, there’s Amy Schumer, Mark Wahlberg, Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, wrestler Triple H and singer Justine Skye.
Wale teased the mixtape earlier in the week with a trailer featuring his longtime muse Jerry Seinfeld, who tells the rapper in the clip, “I heard you’re moving out to L.A. to clear your head. Oh, my God. There’s very little clear head out there. L.A.’s fun. A lot of people out there work hard, but the people that aren’t working are partying even harder so stay cool and be yourself. Don’t ever change.” rollingstone.com

Summer on Sunset is the DC rapper’s first release since 2015’s The Album About Nothing which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The other number one on his legacy was 2013’s The Gifted. Hopefully, his fifth studio album, S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy) will match up. It’ll be out later this year.
